Good Afternoon, Everyone My Name is Nasohi Ciptandani I am from Binus University Thank you for coming to my presentation Today I am going to talk about Linux operating system The reason I choose this topic because Linux is different from other operating systems, it is free and opensource. My talk is in two parts. First of all, I am going to talk about The history of Linux. After that, I am going to talk about the advantages using Linux. Firstly, The name "Linux" comes from the name of the creator, which was introduced in 1991 by Linus Torvalds. The system programs come from the GNU operating system, which was announced in 1983 by Richard Stallman. The GNU contribution is the basis of the rise of alternative name GNU / Linux. Linux has various  kinds of operating system is called distributions/distros such as Debian, ubuntu, kali Linux, RedHat, Fedora, SuSE, and you  can see more at distrowatch.com. In Indonesia also has Linux distros such as Blankon, TeaLinux, ...

Salah satu cara mencari file di linux adalah dengan perintah locate, perintah locate ini berasal dari aplikasi mlocate, saya menggunakan debian, bisa cek lagi dengan apt-get install mlocate apakah sudah ada atau belum selanjutnya adalah update database locate dengan perintah #updatedb selanjutnya tinggal cari file dengan perintah misal mau mencari file config ssl.conf #locate ssl.conf http://www.wikihow.com/Find-a-File-in-Linux

3 HAL yang perlu diperhatikan untuk menambah kemampuan/Skill dalam TKJ/jurusan lain adalah ketika Prakerin, UKK, dan LKS. Setiap orang tentu ingin mempunyai keahlian khusus sesuai bidang yang disukainya untuk menghadapi tantangan kerja di era global ini seperti adanya MEA, tapi perjuangan untuk melatih Skill ini memang butuh perjuangan yang tidak mudah, butuh pengorbanan waktu, butuh uang juga untuk sekolah, beli buku, beli laptop, dll.  ya begitulah kira-kira kata orang tua, guru, dll.  Langsung aja kita bahas mulai dari Prakerin, ya di Prakerin ini banyak ilmu praktek yang bisa kita dapatkan, dikelas 1 salah satunya adalah belajar tentang dasar-dasar komputer setidaknya tau apa itu input device, process divice, output device.  cpu,motherboard,ram,harddisk,bagian-bagian motherboard apa fungsinya,dll. network device (lan card,switch,kabel) setidakya tau apa fungsinya dan bentuk barangnya,  itulah salah satu hal yang menjadi bekal sebelum masuk Prake...
